Florida Woman Should Probably Find a New Favorite Color Scheme
When purchasing a car, the color is important. A Favorite color often conveys a certain message. For one FLorida Man and Florida Woman, the message is conveyed was, “You need to pick a new favorite color scheme. This one is already taken.”
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE – Medley, Florida and the saga of Florida Man Dmitry Pugachev and his wife Iulia Pugachev.
At least we think they’re husband and wife.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Charger a few days ago. According to one of the Florida Highway Patrol troopers, the Charger basically looked like a patrol car except that it wasn’t one of their cars.
The vehicle had blue lights, it had a siren. It had the exact same color scheme as Florida Highway Patrol cars.
And then there was a sign on the door said, FSO Guard for a security company.
If you’re being stopped by that vehicle, you’re probably thinking it’s a patrol car from the Florida Highway Patrol.
So Iulia Pugachev was informed that the vehicles in Florida can’t have the same color scheme as a Florida Highway Patrol marked car, which is black and tan.
She told troopers she had purchased the vehicle from a car auction. Dmitry Pukachev, who was the owner of the dealership, gave her the license plate.
Well, the vehicle was last registered in Louisiana, not Florida. It had no current license plate registered in any state.
The vehicle was outfitted with the blue and white light bar system by a mechanic in Hollywood, Florida. She had the vehicle wrapped, much the way we get our DHA vans wrapped, in black and tan because she thought the color scheme was nice. She liked the Florida Highway Patrol’s color scheme. That’s what I want for my vehicle.
She’s been charged with fraud operating a motor vehicle with no registration, imitation of a Florida Highway Patrol mark unit and misuse of dealer license plate. She was not booked, but was granted a promise to appear in court.
Look, she liked the color scheme, right?
