Florida Man really picked the wrong guy to pick on Wednesday night in an attempt to pull a little hit-and-run on another person's vehicle. Because this time, it's personal.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE - Fort Lauderdale. And this time it's personal. The Saga of a Florida Man who shall remain anonymous.
This happened in an underground garage on Wednesday night. Florida Man backed into an out-of-state vehicle that was parked in the garage.
Florida Man did a little damage to his car, leaving a piece of it behind. Did damage to the out of state vehicle. He drove off, but not before an eyewitness noticing what happened. Noticing Florida Man driving off, got his license plate number.
We have to post this on Facebook!
The eyewitness also posted something on a Facebook group page for that apartment complex.
Someone said to the out-of-state driver, hey, don't you drive and described the vehicle?
The out-of-state driver said, as a matter of fact, yes, and went down to investigate.
Out-of-state driver finds his vehicle with a little bit of damage, finds a piece of another vehicle there. He knows what's happened. Someone's backed into his vehicle.
He sees another vehicle there with the same license plate as Florida Man and yells out, "Hey, you just hit my car!" There may have been an obscenity or two in there.
Florida Man stops. What? Who? Me? I didn't know.
Well, the out-of-state driver has the piece of Florida Man's car and says, this is you, pal.
So at any rate, Florida Man apologizes profusely. Florida Man is making good on the damage caused to the out-of-state vehicle.
So for the time being, all is well. How do I know about this?
How personal is this?
Well, I said, as I said, this time, it's personal because the out of state driver is my son.

We have to admit, it was kind of hard to pick our top five "Florida Man Strikes Again" stories for the month of October because there was just so many good ones to choose from.
We had stolen vehicles, drugs (LOTS of drugs), a return from the dead that was harder than Florida Man certainly would have wanted to be, a return to the scene of the crime, and we couldn't leave out a bad movie choice by a teacher for his students.
Choosing only five meant leaving some real gems behind.

Florida Man Goes For A Job Interview and Then Steals Worst Possible Car
Florida Man was in need a job. So he went on a job interview.
For some reason, he decided to steal a car in the parking lot of the interview, a Cadillac SUV.
Turns out it was the worst possible car he could have chosen, thanks to GM’s OnStar Guardian feature which apparently can take command of the vehicle at the worst possible time for Florida Man.
