Given all the crazy things that Florida Man does, you can probably imagine what fun Thanksgiving must be! That is unless tempers get a little frayed, and there's no water in the coffee maker, and the frustration builds up, and the Oreos go flying.
The end result is an unhappy couple, Florida Man under arrest, and a mess of Oreo cookies that someone is going to have to clean up.
FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!
DATELINE - Lake County, Florida and the Saga of Florida Man John Sandoval. John is 70; this happened over the weekend.
John and his wife, they've been together for more than 40 years. So this relationship, if you've lasted 40 years, you've weathered some big storms. You know it, just in the day to day living.
I don't know what Thanksgiving was like around the Sandoval dinner table, but apparently things got a little testy over the weekend, following Thanksgiving,
Sandoval and his wife sitting at a table. They apparently got into a verbal argument.
What was it about?
Well, the coffee maker didn't have any water in it.
Whose fault was it?
Sandoval blamed his wife, got a little aggressive, grabbed a package of Oreo cookies and threw it at her, hitting her in the chest, which caused her to fall, supposedly.
Now, the incident was not reported until a day later, after the woman's daughter said, mom, you've got to press charges.
Well, mom called the cops. Deputies caught up with Sandoval, who admitted to picking up the package of cookies and throwing them at his wife.
He was arrested, transported to the Lake County Jail.
A criminal check of Sandoval revealed a prior conviction for misdemeanor simple battery back in 2005.
The conversation in jail
Meanwhile, you can just imagine the conversation station in jail - "Hey, tough guy, what are you in for?" "Um... I threw a package of Oreo cookies."

We had stolen vehicles, drugs (LOTS of drugs), a return from the dead that was harder than Florida Man certainly would have wanted to be, a return to the scene of the crime, and we couldn't leave out a bad movie choice by a teacher for his students.
Choosing only five meant leaving some real gems behind.

Florida Man was in need a job. So he went on a job interview.
For some reason, he decided to steal a car in the parking lot of the interview, a Cadillac SUV.
Turns out it was the worst possible car he could have chosen, thanks to GM’s OnStar Guardian feature which apparently can take command of the vehicle at the worst possible time for Florida Man.
