"Mom, I lost your credit card."

And that was just part of the problem Florida Man was dealing with, because it's not just that he lost the card, it was the circumstances surrounding that incident.

When you've already caused a disturbance at a local restaurant, and then you decide to trash someone's home, a misplaced debit card is a much smaller issue.

Unless it happens to be that the missing debit card is found by the police and that's how they track you down.

"Mom, and I'm also in jail."

FLORIDA MAN STRIKES AGAIN!

DATELINE - Cape Coral and the Saga of Florida Man Hugh McMenamin.

Well, it seems that a few days ago, he was causing a ruckus at a Hooters restaurant.

Where else, right?

Well, he was finally asked to leave, which he did ultimately, but he then targeted a local home for a break in.

We're not sure if the connection between McMenamin and the homeowner. McMenamin reportedly went to this home, knocking down portions of a six-foot fence that surrounded the property.

Then he tried to kick in the front door. He also tried to break in through the window of the home.

Did we mention that the homeowner was there and armed and fired shots at the suspect?

Well, McMenamin tried to get away. Wasn't too difficult for the cops to find him because in the process of all of this, it seems that McMenamin allegedly dropped his mother's debit card on the property driveway.

He's accused of causing roughly $3,000 in damage to the home.

The phone call from jail

Can you imagine that phone call? "Mom, I lost your debit card. Oh, and by the way, I'm in jail, too."

It's probably not the first time that McMenamin has made the "Mom, I'm in jail" phone call either. He's been arrested a handful of times before this year, including June of 2023 for violating his parole, and then in 2021, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He remains in police custody.

5 Standout Moments From The New Art Of Anarchy Album

I’ve been waiting for the brand-new full album from Art of Anarchy. When I heard the track “Vilified” I had a feeling it was going to be pretty awesome. Well, it’s out now and I got my copy. After giving it a listen I thought we could take a look at 5 standout moments from the new Art of Anarchy album.

The album is called Let There Be Anarchy. And it is a rocking journey that has a lot of stellar moments on it. The whole band sounds tight on it. This album was a while in the making, so maybe they’re just playing like they’ve been waiting for this!

Their Visit

The guys stopped by our DHA studio when the first single ‘Vilified” was released. They couldn’t have been nicer. They were so down to earth and easy to talk to and were up for chatting with everyone in the building. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thall is a tremendous guitarist, and his playing really shines through on this album. And of course, Jeff Scott Soto is terrific. He’s very underrated and his performance on this album proves that he has some amazing vocal abilities.

And let's not overlook the artwork on this record. It's really cool looking. It gives me vibes of The Joker as played by Joaquin Phoenix a few years back. It definitely has an edgy look to it and if I saw it in the store, I’d think – “Who are these guys? I want to check it out!”

Overall, the album is really good. I need to give it a few more spins, but I wanted to show you some tracks that stand out. These are what I think are great introductions of what to expect from this release. You’re going to get a tight rhythm section, some fantastic guitar, and killer vocals too! It’s definitely worth a listen. So while you go get your copy, here’s 5 standout moments from the new Art of Anarchy album.

DIE HARD

Opening with that intense double bass drumming and cool riff, this is a banger! Soto's voice sounds so good here too!

VILIFIED

The first single we got.  Really cool concept, tying in the movie The Joker.  It's got a great hook!

WRITING ON THE WALL

I like this one, because it really has a modern rock feel, without being a throwaway.  It sounds hip and fresh and the dark vibe is really cool!

BLIND MAN'S VICTORY

You really don't know what to expect from this one.  It starts off like a ballad and then the chorus comes in and pummels you!

DISARRAY

It's got some cool tom fills on the drums to get the song going.  But what's cool is the back and forth between the more mellow sound and heavy chorus.  Really cool stuff!
