It's Terrie Carr and let me start by saying in the 15 years that I have known Lzzy Hale from Halestorm, I cannot think of anyone more authentic as an artist or as a person.

Lzzy is the ultimate rock star. Lzzy has been the front woman for Halestorm since she and her brother, drummer Arejay were kids growing up in Pennsylvania. The bands amazing career includes 5 studio records, 12 EP's,  a Grammy award, countless nominations, many top ten and number one rock singles, a Gibson Guitar Ambassadorship (for Lzzy) , and endless miles traveled playing for a massive amount of loyal fans. The epitome of an amazing rock and roll band!

In this "Reconnect" episode Lzzy covers so much and her honesty, openness, and ability to connect her story to her fans really show.  We discuss the WDHA Rock The Park Lineup, creating new music, how her fans known as "The Lzzy Birds" helped her create and fund inspiration, and of course teaming up with her musical heroes SKID ROW for a series of four shows! Will there be more? Will the band play new music on tour? who is producing their new record? Lzzy fills us in on all of that and much more!

From their first radio station visit to shows at The Wellmont Theater, Starlanad Ballroom, Webster Hall, PNC, we know that this band BRINGS IT! Halestorm is-

Formed in 1997 in Red Lion Pennsylvania, Brother and Sister Lzzy and Arejay KNEW they wanted to rock!

And Queen Lzzy is one of rock's greatest front people! Lzzy has changed the game for women in music being Gibson Guitar's first female ambassador, fronting a band that has had 11 singles in the rock charts top ten and and 6 number 1's! They won a grammy in 2013 for "Love Bites" and Lzzy has been the mastermind behind female fronted rock tours touring arenas and sheds everywhere, that the band has been a part of- AMAZING! I was so happy to put together a few from my collection  for a "WDHA Exclusive Halestorm Photo Gallery" -  favorites to celebrate the band headlining WDHA's Rock The Park 2024, and I hope you love them!
