WDHA’s Dog Days Of Summer Event – Know Before You Go
WDHA's Dog Days Of Summer is BACK! At our WDHA Studios (where it all began 13 years ago!) at 55 Horsehill Rd in Cedar Knolls New Jersey- THIS Saturday - June 1st beginning at Noon! Please come out, support our local New Jersey Rescue Groups, and find a new best friend!
Why Does WDHA Do An Adoption Event Before The Summer?
We are happy to do our own adoption events any time of the year for a multitude of reasons.
How Many Rescue's Will Be There?

We will have 9 Rescue organizations joining us at Dog Days Of Summer.
11th Hour Rescue
Randolph Regional Animal Shelter
Northstar Pet Rescue
Gingerbread House
Fly Away Home Rescue
All Humane Rescue
Sedona Shepherd Rescue
Rosemarie's Rescue Ranch
AHS Newark
You can click on the link above about the event to get links to each rescue and check out some of their lovely adoptables.
Can I Adopt Onsite on Saturday?

Every rescue group has a different policy. Some have applications to be filled out, while others will adopt onsite. Example...11th Hour Rescue requires an approved application, so I suggest to fill one out online in advance so you can get pre-approved. Don't be afraid to ask our groups questions- They are there to help you find a great match.
Where Can We Park?

Meet Your new best friend!
The WDHA studio lot will be used for the event however the lot directly next door at 45 Horsehill is our approved parking lot for the day. There is plenty of easy parking in the huge office complex lot next door and it's a very short walk to the next driveway over to the station.
Give Us The Scoop On Des Rocs Performing! Can We Meet Him?

Des Rocs
Des Rocs is an amazing artist- his latest release "Dream Machine" is climbing the rock charts when we found out he was home from touring and wanted to help we were PSYCHED! Des will be performing an acoustic set close to 1p and meeting the fans, shelters and adoptables (he loves dogs!) so please feel free to stop by and say hi, we are planning on showing him some big time Jersey puppy love!

How Can I Support The Rescue's Attending (if I can't adopt? )

Linens Needed for the pups!
It's easy to help, even if you are not looking to adopt. You can make a donation of food or new supplies. Some of our groups especially ALL HUMANE are in desperate need of linens- sheets, towels, T shirts, Sleeping Bags for the dogs. Please visit their table with your gently used linens. You can make a monetary donation as they will all be taking donations. Every bit helps. You can purchase something from the groups table (some will be vending too), you can inquire about fostering or volunteering. Maybe you can't adopt, but can short term foster, or walk a dog twice a week, or donate a special skill, say building or fixing. There are so many ways to help.
You can also let our shelter groups know you appreciate their hard work.
Can I Bring My Dog?
YES! BUT- must be on a leash - no retractable leashes please! We always want to be as safe as possible.

Dogs On A LEASH are welcome!
