Amongst the new releases that come out this summer, you should keep in mind that there are some great reissues out as well, like this Van Halen Album – For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. Pick Up this amazing Triple Platinum album that's out today and is an expanded edition.
If you’re thinking that you already own a copy of this one, so is it worth picking up this edition, the answer is a resounding yes! It’s been remastered and sounds fantastic. This reissue has previously unreleased audio and video from a 1991 Concert in Dallas. You can grab a big set for Van Halen's 9th album, which even comes with a Blu-ray of concert footage.
This album alone is just epic. You have to think about the time and how big these songs were when it was released. I mean “Right Now” was literally everywhere. The radio, as a soundtrack to commercials – it was huge. Plus you’ll also find Poundcake with that awesome power drill guitar sound, Top Of The World and more!! It was an awesome achievement in the Van Hagar era. And think about it – It’s gone triple platinum! That’s a really big accomplishment!
Oh and I should also mention that this album was the third number 1 album in a row for Hagar and the boys! Not bad at all, right?
Wondering about what you get exactly? Let’s take a look!

5 Metal Singers That Are Favorites In Jersey
The are some insanely talented vocalists out there. So I thought we’d take a look at 5 Metal Singers That Are Favorites In Jersey. Whether it’s someone who’s from a classic metal band or a “newer” more modern voice in hard-hitting rock, let’s see who Jersey loves!
To get my data? You know where it comes from, don’t you? I have my feature at 5 pm on weekdays called First Call Last Call where I play a themed set of music that is all based on listener responses to the Question Of The Day. I post the question at around 4 pm to the DHA Facebook page. Then, I sit back and let the answers or comments roll in. It’s so fun to read listeners' opinions and see all the great artists bands or songs they mention.
I did note that for me, James Hetfield of Metallica has one of my favorite voices. I love his deeper tone and ability to hit higher notes still and “play” around with vocals while singing live. Bruce Dickinson is also up there for me. He’s a tremendous vocalist who's been doing it for a while and at a super high level. He still sounds great too!
Sometimes there’s just a voice that resonates or speaks to you. For whatever reason. Maybe you are biased because you love the band's music so much or maybe that person’s voice just hits you right.
The reason doesn’t really matter. There’s no wrong answer. As long as the singer hits some great notes and has some great and powerful melodies, the technique or reason why it speaks to you doesn’t matter. Sometimes it just plain rocks and you love it. Other times you hear a band with a singer that makes you cringe hahahah. Hopefully, that’s not often the case though.
ROB HALFORD OF JUDAS PRIEST
The Metal god received alot of recognition from DHA Listeners. He really has a killer voice and gets those high notes without making you cringe.
BRUCE DICKINSON OF IRON MAIDEN
Bruce just gets what the audience wants. He does those tremendous lines that are too high for most of us to hit and still after all this time sounds amazing in concert.
DAVID DRAIMIN OF DISTURBED
What a phenomenal voice. He can do much more than sing metal. But he makes our Jersey list because of the awesome melodies he provides over those heavy riffs!
GEOFF TATE OF QUEENSRYCHE
In my opinion he's underappreciated. Such great work and really powerful, strong and heartfelt vocals. He's a force!!!
OZZY OSBOURNE
Ozzy has such a unique voice. Ever since his early Sabbath days you could tell there was something unique about him. Great vocalist and of course fun on stage back in the day!
