Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison On Performing Classics, Producing Hit Records, And Meeting The Band ‘Live’
Jerry Harrison from Talking Heads is an architect of sound. It’s Terrie Carr and it’s always a blast to get some hang time with artists I admire. Jerry is one of those artists. His contributions to “Talking Heads”, his first band “Modern Lovers”, his solo work and “Casual Gods” projects, and his credits as a producer are mind-blowing. Jerry has produced records for Live, The Crash Test Dummies, The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, No Doubt, and Violent Femmes. O.A.R. , The Neurotic Outsiders, and more. Having the opportunity to talk music with him was amazing!
Jerry Harrison and guitar master Adrian Belew will be taking the “Remain In Light” tour to the Union County Performing Arts Center THIS Saturday, August 3rd.

Talking Heads
Formed in 1975 in New York City, Talking Heads are David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth, and Jerry Harrison. They led a revolution in sound (and vision on MTV) and were able to plow into the mainstream and still be SUPER COOL.

WDHA’s Rock The Park was AMAZING! Halestorm, I Prevail, Hollywood Undead, and Fit For A King ROCKED New Jersey at the PNC Bank Arts Center on Friday, July 26th and we were honored to present this show.
How It All Began
We heard back in February of 2024, that Halestorm was going out on the road with the incredible I Prevail and they wanted to come to New Jersey. Rock The Park? Sign us up! We have had a 15-year relationship with Halestorm and I Prevail is quickly becoming a part of the family. The amazing support bands are making noise as well. What a lineup!
