If you’re an Avenged Sevenfold fan, hopefully, you saw their announcement yesterday regarding merch.  You Can Pick Up Awesome $25 Avenged Sevenfold Merch! It’s a great sale that you should take advantage of before it’s over.

It’s hard to believe that Avenged Sevenfold is celebrating 25 years in general – time sure does fly lol!  But doing it with unique and cool merchandise all for just 25 bucks is not bad at all my friends!  They’ve progressed and morphed so much with their sound over the years, but one thing hasn’t changed – they love and value their fans!

At most concerts for any band, you can get a tee shirt for $30 or $40 bucks.  And that’s a way to have the band see money.  Which is cool.  You get a shirt and the band gets some cash, almost like a thank you for their great music.

This A&X announcement is extra special because the items are just $25! And that includes a hoodie!  Sure, there’s another more detailed hoodie for $85, but for most fans, spending just 25 bucks is a cost-effective way to both support and celebrate a band you love.

My cohost for Metal With The Mikes “Mike Bufis”, just ordered his tee shirt from their post.  It’s got elements of all their album covers in an image on the front.  Plus, the back has one word from each album title going down it.  It looks really sharp and yes, it only set him back 25 dollars!

Mike is all about having fun each afternoon. He brings you concert tickets, some fun trivia, and of course the best bands. Other interests outside of being at WDHA are drums, movies, and my family. Also, like most radio personalities, he loves live music. There's nothing like a live show to hype him up! His all-time favorite band is Metallica. But according to him, the list of others is pretty lengthy.

Top 5 Live Aerosmith Songs We Wanted To Hear On The Farwell Tour

Aerosmith has canceled their farewell tour.  So, I thought we could take a look at the Top 5 Live Aerosmith songs Jersey Wanted to hear.  The band was set to come by towards the end of the year.  And boy there were a ton of songs I for one wanted to see them perform one last time!

I thought I’d get my info directly from the best listeners in all of New Jersey…..WDHA listeners.  I do a weekday feature on my show called First Call Last Call.  It’s a themed set of music that starts at 5 pm.  The theme is based on the question of the day which I post to the DHA Facebook page at around 4 o’clock. Yesterday I asked listeners what Aerosmith songs they most would have liked to hear live.  The responses were awesome and pretty much were from all over the various “eras” of Aerosmith’s career.

Steven Tyler and the boys have put out some truly outstanding music through the years.  They are by far one of the best American bands to ever release music or perform on stage.  It’s kind of a shame they didn’t get to go out with a farewell tour.  Whether you’re looking for hard rockers, power ballads, or just fun little tunes with catchy melodies, Aerosmith has something for everyone.

They went through their hardships like a lot of bands, maybe more than some actually.  But each time they “got things together” they would come back even stronger!  Whether you’re into the early stuff like the Get Your Wings or ROCKS albums or you like the poppier sound they had on Pump or even Nine Lives, they really proved that they could do it all.  There was emotion in the lyrics and vocals, great guitar riffs and solos, and just plain solid drumming.  What a band!

  • CHIP AWAY THE STONE

    A true gem. A very underated tune from the band. It’s got that bluesy feel while rocking all along the way!

  • FALLING IN LOVE IS HARD ON THE KNEES

    Is it more of a commercial song?  sure.  But is it catchy as all get out?  Definitely.  The melody is so infectious and the video is pretty cool too!

  • TOYS IN THE ATTIC

    An old school rocker that is fun, with a cool upbeat riff.  The cadence of the vocals is different too.  At least not how I would expect it to go.  It’s really well done!

  • WALK THIS WAY

    That opening drum beat…..what more can I say LOL.  It’s iconic and instantly recognizable.  Those lyrics are so close to almost being hip hop (maybe that’s why RUN -DMC wanted to collab).  But what a cool and different sounding song.

  • LIVIN ON THE EDGE

    This is a big and full sounding tune.  And the lyrics deal with the downfall of society and how things are different in the modern world.  And of course, this one has another really cool video.
