Luck O’ The Pup Is Back!- Join WDHA On Sunday – 9/22- For the “Luck O’ The Pup Pet Adoption Fair” for a fantastic day of rescue, amazing prizes, great food and fabulous fido inspired cocktails courtesy of “Tito’s Handmade Vodka- Vodka For Dog People”!

It’s Terrie Carr and it will be my fourth year hanging with you and your dogs at the Shillelagh Club/Friendly Sons Of The Shillelagh – 648 Prospect Avenue in West Orange and every year, it just gets better and better. Team DHA will be on hand as well with prizes and tunes!

It’s the 8th annual and It’s such a fun hang for your dog, supporting many local rescue groups who will be showcasing their adoptable dogs and cats.

This event is sponsored by Friendly Sons Of The Shillelagh every year, as their community outreach is always tremendous. They open their doors for an indoor/outdoor event that combines animal rescue, support, awareness, and FUN!

We hope you will join us for our 8th annual multi-rescue pet adoption and fundraiser, sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, & hosted by WDHA’s Terrie Carr! 

Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch, Common Sense for Animals, Meow’s Kitty Kat Rescue, West Orange TNVR, Cold Nose Warm Heart NJ, Rescue Haven Foundation, and Associated Humane Societies – Newark will be there with their adoptable pets. Can’t adopt at this time? You can still show your support! The Shillelagh Club and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be donating a portion of all proceeds from Tito’s Handmade Vodka drinks sold at the bar now through September 22nd directly to our participating rescues.

Blessing of the pets at 3:30 p.m., Dr. Lokuta, DVM of Caldwell Veterinary Center will be on-site doing nail clips, giveaways, and more. 50/50, incredible basket raffle.

As animal lovers and rescue advocates, we are very excited to host this event again this year and hope to see you there. All fundraising proceeds will be distributed to our participating rescues.

They have had a super fun drink menu in years past too! Rosie Carr even got a signature drink!

Terrie Carr

Terrie Carr is WDHA’s Program Director and midday–host and is a Jersey Girl - born and raised and has been rocking the Garden State at WDHA for more than half of her life! “Being a part of the lives of our listeners and community every day is a fantastic gift and I’m honored to bring the party to their workday and lives” Says TC. Terrie loves interviewing artists in studio and on her “Reconnect With Rockers” online feature and has hosted nationally syndicated radio interview specials with Judas Priest, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry and more and has appeared on multiple TV shows and rock host of live events. Terrie’s passion is also giving back, and she started the WDHA Rock N’ Ruff program 14 years ago to raise awareness, and funds and find homes for shelter pets throughout the state of New Jersey. Terrie is also a supporter of The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention and the American Cancer Society and volunteers her time for many community outreach programs. Her hobbies are hanging at the beach, going to concerts, and hanging with her best friend, her rescue dog Rosie.
