Pop Evil’s Leigh Kakaty On New Members, New Vision, and The Rock & Roll Community

Pop Evil! What a band! It's almost impossible to believe the band's debut release "Lipstick On the Mirror" is 16 years old- but it is. It's Terrie Carr and I have known Pop Evil's dynamic frontman Leigh Kakaty for 15 of those years and have always admired his passion, power in leading his band, and authenticity as a person both on and off the stage.

In this "Reconnect" episode, we discuss the new vision for the band with members Blake Allison (Drums) and Joey Walker (Bass) who bring the heavy from their bands "Devour The Day" and "Egypt Central" to the PE sound, the bands latest single "What Remains" - the bands Michigan roots, perseverance and how local radio has always been a staple for their fanbase and success. 

Including Skeletons, Waking Lions, Trenches, Survivor, and Pop Evil has had amazing success as a touring band playing ginormous festivals, headlining tours, and international shows.
