North To Shore Music Festival Back in June 2024, Offering $10,000 Artist Grants
The North to Shore Music Festival is coming back to New Jersey next summer. The three-week festival runs June 9-29, 2024, with performances in Atlantic City, Asbury Park, and Newark. Local musicians can apply for $10,000 grants to perform at the festival.
The first festival, launched by Gov. Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy, brought in $25 million last year. Around 650 artists performed at 250 venues across the state, drawing half a million music fans. Big names took the stage throughout 2023.
Halsey gave an incredible performance. Eric B. & Rakim brought their classic hip-hop. Santana delivered amazing guitar solos. Kevin Hart had audiences laughing non-stop. The Smithereens rocked Wonder Bar in Asbury Park with an unforgettable show.
The New Jersey Performing Arts Center manages the festival, working with organizations in each city. Prudential Financial serves as the main sponsor. NJPAC President and CEO John Schreiber shared, “What separates North to Shore from other festivals is the breadth of experiences it offers. Whether you want to see the biggest names in entertainment, discover the next big star, or listen to leading innovative voices, this festival has something for you.”
Curious about next year’s lineup? They’ll announce the performers and grant recipients at a press event in early 2025. The complete schedule will be released a few months later. Musicians can apply for small grants to set up their shows. Starting in 2025, Atlantic City will host additional concerts throughout the year.
