Lidl To Open New Paramus Store, Growing its Northeast Presence
A new Lidl store will open at 651 Route 17 in Paramus, New Jersey starting Feb. 12, 2025. The store kicks off with a quick ribbon-cutting at 7:40 a.m. Moving into a vacant space between Burlington, Home Goods, and Pet Goods, this newest store in the shopping center will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Starting in Germany, this global grocery chain now operates over 12,000 stores. Their expansion along the East Coast includes more than 180 stores, with New Jersey locations in Livingston, Morristown, and Cherry Hill. Their New Jersey distribution center supports a rapid growth plan. More locations will open across the Northeast as the company grows.
Area shoppers now have a new option alongside Amazon Fresh, H Mart, and Trader Joe’s. The store will carry fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and household essentials. Natural light fills the spacious aisles at the Paramus location. Environmentally conscious shoppers will like the store’s energy-efficient lighting and waste reduction programs.
Job openings are available as the store builds its team. Inside, customers will find Lidl’s own brands next to familiar grocery items.
After coming to America ten years ago, Lidl chose the East Coast to start. Now Paramus residents get a budget-friendly option for their grocery shopping.
