Chick-fil-A Gives Away Record $6 Million to Nonprofits in 2025 Grant Program
Chick-fil-A’s True Inspiration Awards just gave out $6 million to dozens of deserving organizations. The 2025 program broke records by helping 56 nonprofits, the most in its history.
“These nonprofits are the backbone of their communities, and we are honored to support their vital work,” said Brent Fielder, Vice President of Global Impact, to njbiz.com.
The program has given $33.8 million to 357 organizations since it began in 2015. This year was special as British groups got involved for the first time, following the company’s growth into the UK.
Three New Jersey organizations came up as big winners. The Center of United Methodist Aid got $200,000, while Cathedral Soup Kitchen received $125,000. Aslan Youth Ministries took home $75,000. Each organization helps its community differently. Methodist Aid provides food to families. Cathedral Soup Kitchen trains people in job skills between serving meals. Aslan Youth Ministries helps struggling students do better in school.
Previous grants have led to big changes. Methodist Aid grew its food distribution. More people found jobs through Cathedral Soup Kitchen’s training. Aslan Youth Ministries helped even more students. These awards are part of the company’s larger community work. Employees and customers often help out too. Past winners have helped with everything from school supplies to healthcare needs and neighborhood projects.
The selection looks for groups making real differences. Winners need to show success in four key areas: human services, food security, community development, and environmental stewardship.
As Chick-fil-A grows internationally, this expanded program shows they’re serious about helping communities everywhere they go.
