6 Pet Friendly Winter Destinations For You And Your Best Friend
Pet-Friendly Getaways- Are Not Just For Summer
TC CollectionAll work and no play makes for a dull Rosie and Terrie! We avoid Winter Cabin Fever.
It's Terrie Carr and you know I'm all about the "Pet Friendly" experience with my dog Rosie Carr.
Pet-friendly outings are not only fun for our pups but for us. I love getting out with Rosie after a long work week, and it's really good socialization, bonding, and a great way to meet some new faces.
Pet-friendly outings are usually considered most popular in warm weather situations, but our best buds get cabin fever just like we do so a day trip vacation or staycation can be amazing not only for us but for our dogs as well.
I don't know about you, but for me, winter can be tough. I'm always looking for something fun to do, so I don't hibernate until April! Bringing Rosie along is a HUGE plus. She's my favorite "person" to hang with.
My List Of 6 Locations
I decided to put together a list of "options" for dog lovers and their canine companions. All basically within a two-hour commute for New Jersey dog owners. (All but one in New Jersey too) Planning a trip to North Jersey and want a beer? We have you covered. Need a weekend getaway and want to bring your dog? No problem OR just want a simple "Jersey Mall Experience"? Done.
If You have a Pet-Friendly establishment that you love, hit me up - TC@WDHAFM.COM
And don't forget to check out our adoptables on the WDHA Rock N' Ruff Page
And my hang with Animal Planet Star and Dog Lover - Lee Asher
I'll be back next month with my "warm weather" list so stay tuned!

The Mall At Short Hills even has strollers for rent for dogs 20 pounds and under. I have used them personally when I had my paralyzed dog Star, who loved strolling through the mall and seeing the sights.
