Dave Mason left Traffic in 1969 to pursue a solo career. He has penned over 100 songs, has three gold albums: Alone Together, Dave Mason, Mariposa De Oro, and platinum album Let It Flow, which contained the top 10 single “We Just Disagree.”

In addition to cranking out hits, Mason has performed on, or contributed to, a number of famous albums, including: The Rolling Stones’ Beggars Banquet, George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass, Paul McCartney and Wings’ Venus and Mars, and Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland where he is featured playing acoustic guitar in “All Along the Watchtower”…a favorite in Mason’s live shows!

A prolific artist in his own right, Mason has collaborated with an enviable list of the who’s who in the music industry: Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Graham Nash, Stephen Stills, Rita Coolidge, Delaney & Bonnie, Leon Russell, Ron Wood, Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, and Jim Capaldi, just to name a few.

Sundays from 6:00am to 10:00am from 5/14/23 until 6/4/23, call 973-292-1055 for a chance to win during this on-air contest.  Five random callers will 2 tickets to see Dave Mason of the band Traffic, valued at $59 each (plus fees), courtesy of The State Theater of New Jersey. Must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States. Unless otherwise specified, listeners are eligible to win in station’s contests; a prize valued under $600 only once every seven (7) days and a prize valued at $600 or more, only once every thirty (30) days.
