Steeped in the lore of the land, 13th Hour Haunted House, formerly known as The Haunted Scarehouse, is back for another year. Taking its inspiration from the legend of the Hayden family that owned the land in the 1970’s, the 13th Hour Haunted House has brought on the terror every year, and this year will be no different. This haunted house actually has three houses in one, “The House of Nightmares” which takes you back in time through the Hayden House where the family will do anything they can to terrify, “The Attic” which only extends the scares and even plays into some of the other offerings at 13th Hour, and “The Darkside of the Hayden House” which plunges you into pitch black darkness while you try to find your way out without falling victim to those lurking in the darkness.
At almost any other haunted house, once you leave, no matter how high your blood pressure spiked inside, you’re done and it’s time to get in the car and move on, but not at 13th Hour. 13th Hour also offers eight different escape rooms, six of which are themed around different parts of the Hayden family’s house, the other two being themed around the doorway to an Egyptian tomb and The Wizard of Oz. The fun still doesn’t stop there, as they also offer “Haunted Hatchets” axe throwing.
13th Hour Haunted House is considered one of the best haunted houses in America. The haunted house has won countless awards including NJ Top Haunts for three consecutive years, Fear NJ’s Best Haunt, and the Golden Pumpkin Award for Best Haunted House. The Scare Factor website gave it a 9.25 out of 10, making it the highest ranked attraction in New Jersey, and the reviews left by guests on the site gave it a 9.3 out of 10.

One random entrant will win dinner and a private haunt for you and four friends (5 people total) at the 13th Hour Haunted House valued at $350 (plus fees), courtesy of 13th Hour Haunted House/Escape Rooms. Must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States. Unless otherwise specified, listeners are eligible to win in station’s contests; a prize valued under $600 only once every seven (7) days and a prize valued at $600 or more, only once every thirty (30) days.
