As we approach the start of this school year, more schools are looking to diversify their extra-curricular and boost enrollment. Even before the outbreak, colleges were struggling to attract new students. Like many other schools, Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) are turning to esports to increase their standing with Gen Z. So the new HBCU Esports League, run by Collegiate Star League, aims to make waves in the fall and 2021.
