New Jersey’s own John Pizzarelli is known around the world for his incredible guitar playing style. The son of the legendary Bucky Pizzarelli, John grew up in and around some of the most famous singers and musicians in the world.
Though mostly associated with jazz, his musical career has always touched on rock and on his latest album, John has songs by the Beatles, the Allman Brothers Band, James Taylor, Elvis Costello and more.
He’s performing Saturday March 1 on the campus of William Paterson University.
John called into Jim’s “All Mixed Up” show on Sunday February 23 to talk about his upcoming show, performing with Paul McCartney, and his latest album.
