In the early 1970’s, Lori Lieberman went to the Troubadour in Los Angeles to see Don McLean perform. McLean’s performance that evening struck Lori in such a way that she wrote a poem. That poem became the song “Killing Me Softly” which was taken to #1 by Roberta Flack.
Over the years, Lori has continued to write and perform for audiences all over the world, killing them just as softly with her own special introspective lyrics and haunting melodies.
In town for a performance at the Sanctuary Concert series in Chatham, Lori stopped by the WDHA studios to visit with Jim Monaghan on All Mixed Up.
