Hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (hands-only CPR) is the recommended form of CPR for an adult or teen who collapses outside of a medical setting. It not only increases the likelihood of surviving breathing and cardiac emergencies that occur outside of medical settings, but it’s simple to learn and easy to remember.
Join us at the Boonton Holmes Public Library to learn Hands-Only CPR from Lotte Newlin, an EMT for 6 years, current New Vernon First Aid Squad Captain, and also Director of the Library. Participants do not receive any kind of official certification after completing this workshop, but they do gain the power of saving a life in their very hands! This program is free and open to the public ages 16 & up, however, registration is requested. Please register via this Eventbrite listing or (call the Library at 973-334-2980 to register by phone).
