Artist David John Rush has always held a special place in his heart for Waterloo Village with many memories of his trips there as a youngster and now as an artist capturing Waterloo’s charms in watercolors for all to enjoy. The Wharton Public Library will be exhibiting Mr. Rush’s Waterloo collection at their Art Gallery Tuesday, September 4 through Saturday, November 3 in conjunction with their Friends of the Library Gala that will be held Saturday, October 20 from 7-9pm, celebrating the Library’s 40th Anniversary. The evening Gala will include a “meet the artist” and a raffle with a chance to win a one-of-a- kind Waterloo print by the artist. Call the library for the Gala Evening ticket details.
Rush’s Waterloo Village art exhibit is free to the pubic during normal library hours: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, 10am-8pm. Fri, 10am-5pm. Sat, 9am-1pm.
