Check out Bush at the PNC Bank Arts Center on Wednesday, August 21st!

Formed in London, England in 1992, Bush was comprised of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Gavin Rossdale, lead guitarist Nigel Pulsford, bassist Dave Parsons, and drummer Robin Goodridge.

Following some behind the scenes drama with their original record label Trauma and their distributor Disney’s Hollywood Records, the latter of which claimed the album contained “no singles” and “no album tracks”, the band released their debut record Sixteen Stone on December 6th, 1994. This album would go on to be the band’s biggest commercial success to date, being certified double Platinum by the RIAA after only a year, and has since reached, and potentially surpassed, 6-time Platinum certification as of April 1997; as well as only falling below the top 50 mark in Germany across all the charts they were on across the globe.

Following the massive success of Sixteen Stone, the band would go on to release three more albums including another success in their sophomore effort Razorblade Suitcase before breaking up in 2002 following the release of Golden State. Fast forward to 2010, the band reunited for their first show in eight years at Epicenter Music Festival, with Nigel Pulsford being replaced by Chris Traynor and Dave Parsons being replaced by Corey Britz.

After the reunion, the band parted ways with Robin Goodridge who was replaced with Nik Hughes, released another five studio albums, including 2022’s The Art of Survival with rumors of a new album to be released sometime in 2024, a greatest hits album titled Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023, and has gone on to tour with Alice In Chains, Nickelback, and Stone Temple Pilots.

Following a massively successful tour last fall that took the band across the US, Bush has announced they are hitting the road again for a summer headlining tour. The tour, which hits local venues like the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on August 21st and Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City on August 23rd, is supported by Jerry Cantrell and Candlebox throughout, with more guests to be announced as the dates approach.

Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com.
