Check out Sum 41 at the Stone Pony Summer Stage on Saturday, May 4th!

Sum 41 were founded in 1994, when front man Derryck Whibley was in just 10th grade. Since then the band has become one of the most prolific pop punk groups of all time and one of the most recognizable Canadian musical acts. They have been featured on MTV, played with Rob Halford of Judas Priest, and released 7 studio albums. They have toured for years and shared the stage with major acts such as Simple Plan, The Offspring, Papa Roach, and Blink-182.

Their debut album, All Killer No Filler, is certified triple platinum. Four of their other released are also certified either gold or platinum. All 7 of their studio albums have charted internationally including in Canada, the US, and in Japan. In 2012 Sum 41 won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance. There seems to be not much left to accomplish for Sum 41!

There is a lot coming up next for Sum 41 as they look to go out with a bang. The band has confirmed that Sum 41 will be disbanding after 2024. However, they won’t be leaving fans empty handed. There is a double album set to be released, Heaven x Hell, which is half metal and half punk. They will be hitting the road as well on one last farewell tour, giving fans one more shot to come see the Canadian rockers tear up the stage!
