Dorothy at WDHA's Parking Lot Party rocking for her super fans

Dorothy + WDHA Parking Lot = AN AMAZING DAY! When Dorothy Martin and her incredible guitar player Luke stopped by on a rainy Wednesday to play a few tunes, answer some questions, and meet their fans, WDHA photographer Joseph Frazz was there to capture the action.

It’s Terrie Carr and we love bringing fans to our home at WDHA to rock listener experiences and the chance to meet their favorite artists.

About Dorothy

Dorothy Martin is a powerhouse vocalist who I first saw in 2016 and was blown away.

Her Roc Nation debut album “Rock Is Dead” is a must-listen with its bluesy, heavy, authentic vibe and her follow-up “28 Days In the Valley” showed a different, more organic side to this multi-faceted artist. When “Gifts From The Holy Ghost” came out in 2022, Dorothy was a bona fide rock star.

Dorothy stopped by WDHA to play for some lucky contest winners and she killed it.

Dorothy has a new tune that was produced by Scott Stevens (Exies member and songwriter and producer for Shinedown, Halestorm, Daughtry, and more) and we get a full record from her soon. She describes it as the heaviest record she’s made and the most diverse.

Dorothy has connected BIG TIME with our WDHA listeners (I actually saw people start to cry when they met her) She is bigger than life. A total badass rockstar! https://dorothyonfire.com
