Happy Birthday To Our Friend Lzzy Hale! (WDHA Photo Gallery Memories)

TC here, Wishing a very 40th Happy Birthday to our good friend Elizabeth "Lzzy" Hale!

Halestorm was founded 1997 by Lzzy and her baby brother Arejay and released their debut in 2009 and WDHA was one of the first to ROCK it on the air.

At the time it was groundbreaking with tunes custom made for live performance. I Get Off, It's Not You, Familiar Taste Of Poison, Bet You Wish You Had Me Back- SOLID!

Followed by "The Strange Case Of" in 2012,  "Into The Wild Life" in 2014,  "Vicious" in 2018, and "Back From The Dead" in 2021, the band has released multiple covers collections and has won many awards including a Grammy for "Love Bites" .

I have often called Lzzy an "escalator" for women in rock as she has contributed so much more than she is given credit for. I remember the days where women headlining tours was forbidden and did not happen often.  Lzzy has broken down the barriers for new generations of rockers showing the relevance of women in music and carrying the torch, tearing down the walls for those coming after her.  Lzzy also is the first Gibson Guitar female brand ambassador with her Gibson Explorer series and Halestorm holds the position of having multiple number one singles at rock radio. Yup, Lzzy is an "escalator" alright.

WDHA knows Lzzy as our friend, and one of the most awesome people in music who always treats her fans like family.  Have you ever met her? She's AWESOME!
