Dog and Drink lovers, get ready. WDHA Mike’s Hard Lemonade Doggie Yappy Hours are coming back!
In 2019, we partnered with Mike’s Hard Lemonade on a campaign for shelter dogs and put together a series of three “Yappy Hours” at amazing Restaurant/Bars around North Jersey.
First stop- 381 Main in Little Falls where even on a 90 plus degree night the patio was so packed we moved the party to the parking lot, complete with pools and water bowls for the pups. The adoptable dogs from Northstar strutted their mutt and we even made a few matches. Such a blast!
Second Stop- The Sunset Pub where a record amount of doggies and diners PACKED the place and raised money for Northstar Pet Rescue, we hung with Pilots and Paws and drank until we ran out of Mike’s! It was the most awesome time.
Third Stop- The Canal House, who opened their lovely porch to the pooches and even when a few rain drops hit us, let everyone go into the back bar to continue the pawty.
We understand that after a long day at work you and your best furry friend may need a little “decompression bonding time” which is where the Rock of New Jersey and Mike’s came in, providing great locations, killer prizes, wonderful dogs up for adoption and of course libations.
