It’s Friday. In and of itself that’s pretty cool because we get to kick off the weekend later today. But besides that, we are also getting some great music releases from artists.
Motionless in White is releasing a Deluxe Edition of “Scoring the End of the World.” Pretty awesome stuff. Bonus tracks are always a fun listen and 7 extra tracks? That ain’t bad at all. Plus the album in general is just a tremendous release. Quite possibly their best record so far. Blending together different sounds and textures to make one clear piece of art that really resonates.
Saliva also returns with “Revelation.” It’s somewhat bittersweet because while I definitely look forward to new music from these guys, it features the last performances from late guitarist Wayne Swinny who was an original founding member of the band.
Saliva started working on this record several years ago during the pandemic shutdown and they decided to go outside the box a little bit. It should be interesting to see what they have in store for their fans!
Everclear is back with a live album “Live at The Whiskey-A-Go-Go.” The Album was recorded and filmed in late 2022 during EVERCLEAR’s 30th-anniversary tour in Los Angeles and marked the first time that the quartet performed at the famed venue.
The 17-track collection features the big smash hit and also some interesting hidden gems from throughout EVERCLEAR’s amazing catalog as well as two bonus studio tracks – the single they released last year, “Year Of The Tiger” and their brand new single “Sing Away”.
Fans of classic rock are in for a treat too as The Doors released Live At The Matrix 1967. This was a series of shows they performed at right before they were about to explode into superstardom.
Like metal? Don’t miss “Make Them Beg For Death”, the new release from Dying Fetus. And yes – it’s really heavy!
