“Kiss My -ss”! lol……Not true.
We have some incredibly talented new bands, legacy bands and classic bands creating great music and WDHA is always loud and proud as a leader of delivering new bands and tunes to the rock masses.
We have new music out from Metallica, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Rival Sons, 3 Smashing Pumpkins records! YOWZA!
New full releases are coming from Mammoth WVH, Staind, Sevendust, Corey Taylor, Greta Van Fleet and I hear perhaps Guns N’ Roses? Wow!
Here are five of my favorite brand new DHA rockers- all different, all rocking, celebrating the great talent and sonic differences of today’s rock talent.

• Black Stone Cherry - Nervous

  There is NOTHING I don’t love about BSC! Mashing metal, southern rock, killer songwriting and monster hooks and riffs- their new record “Screaming At The Sky” comes our way September 29th.

• Jared James Nichols- Easy Come, Easy Go

  Anyone who says there aren’t talented “new” players has NEVER EVER heard of Jared James Nichols.

  A modern day guitar viking who has more talent in his pinky than most bands have combined, JJN is a modern day guitar hero in the tradition of Leslie West, Zakk Wylde and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

  Easy Come, Easy Go (below) is a fun summer anthem so crank it up and be a little naughty!

   

• Nita Strauss (Featuring Dorothy) - Victorious

  HOLY MOLY! These two talents are mind blowing separately and earth shattering together! A summer anthem and one of the most powerful female rock videos ever- The guitar mastery of Nita Strauss combined with the epic throated Dorothy Martin gives us a rock-metal anthem that shakes the walls of summer! And the video is smoking- Girls….live your dreams!

   

• Sevendust- Everything

  Wowing me since 1997- Sevendust  HAS ARRIVED! (That’s a fan phrase when they hit the stage- I heard it constantly at Rock The Rock Fest!) Their 14th release “Truth Killer” “arrives” July 28th and promises to pack the 100 punches the band gives us consistently combined with strong melody,. harmony and extrodinary songwriting. The bands new tune “Everything” may be one of my all time favorite Sevendust jams. Perfect for summer banging!

• The Warning- More

  The powerhouse sister trio Dani, Ale and Pau are coming back with a new record and a sonic evolution with their new tune “More” – perfect for head banging AND grooving! A real evolution for this mega talented band, “More” is some serious fun and a perfect t summer rocker. Check out the video- So awesome!
