Not only do we have awesome beaches and lakes to enjoy during the summer months, but we also rock the festivals and whatever you like to do (rock out, family time, beach rocking, rural rocking, comic rocking) New Jersey has something for you. I cover the state from north to south.
Love southern rock? We have you covered. Into farming? You're included. Want a great place to take the kids where you can rock out too? Done. And of course we include the beach. Oh and if you aren't an "outdoors" festival type, I didn't forget you.
Here are 6 awesome festivals to check out this summer with something for everyone. And I even included one indoor "Fest" as well. Heck, not everyone loves the great outdoors!

Rock, Ribs & Ridges
This weekend (June 23rd - 25th) Sussex County Fairgrounds comes alive with souther rock and amazing food at the 13th Annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges Festival is ON!
Three days of amazing music, great people and some of the best food you will eat all summer.
The festival kicks off Friday with The Artimus Pyle Band and has 38 Special headlining Saturday and Blackberry Smoke on Sunday. Other performers include The Devon Allman Band, Tyler Bryant and The Shakedown, Samantha Fish and many more. There are multiple robbers competing for best BBQ so you know the food will be rocking!
There is camping available, full weekend passes and single day passes. Don't miss it!

State Fair Meadowlands
This weekend The State Fair Meadowlands begins and rocks until July 9th.
Rides, Games, Food and Fun for the WHOLE family are waiting for you at The Meadowlands in Secaucus.
The New Jersey Lottery Festival Of Ballooning
This is one of the state's most epic events. The weekend of July28th-30th, Solberg Airport in Readington rocks with the largest hot air balloon and music festival in North America.
WDHA is pumped to present Everclear and Lit on Friday July 28th and the am out of things for you and the family to do all weekend is mind boggling!

Sea, Hear Now Festival
Set in beautiful Asbury Park the weekend of September 16 -17, The Sea, Hear Now Festival is an awesome time providing killer music, the backdrop of the incredible Jersey shore (surfing encouraged) and an arts festival that is second to none.
Well known bands like Foo Fighters, Beach Boys and The Killer share the stage with newcomers to the music world and the sense of community is unparalleled.
The festival sells out quickly, but the wait list periodically releases tickets so good luck!
