  • 5 Best New Songs This Morning

  • Gimme Shelter - Eric Church

This is from the new Stoned Cold Country collection that features Rolling Stones songs recorded by some of today’s top country music artists including Maren Morris, Brooks & Dunn, and Steve Earle.

Eric Church contributed an incendiary version of this Stones classic featuring Joanna Cotten.

  • Can't Outrun the Truth - Pete Townshend

Pete Townshend‘s first solo single since 1994 was recorded at his home studio in September 2021 and it reflects some of the general global mood a year and a half into the COVID 19 pandemic.

A portion of the vinyl and download sales are being donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

  • Paint It Black - Zac Brown Band

The Zac Brown Band has walked the line between rock and country for years. This is a GREAT version of a classic Rolling Stones song with Brown’s signature stamp all over it.

  • Pride (In the Name of Love) - U2

This stripped-down version of one of U2‘s most famous songs, taken from the recently released Songs of Surrender collection, really allows the power of the lyrics to come through.

  • A Thousand Shades - Ozzy Osbourne

Though it might not always be obvious listening to his music, Ozzy Osbourne was a huge Beatles fan. On this track from his most recent album Patient Number 9, one of two songs featuring the late Jeff Beck, you can really hear a Magical Mystery Tour vibe coming through.
