Celebrate ‘National Cinema Day’ At These 25 New Jersey Theaters With $3 Tickets

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get to the movies, now is your chance. This coming Saturday, September 3 is National Cinema Day, and to honor it, AMC Theatres is offering a special deal on tickets for one day only.

All tickets, including IMAX and Dolby Cinema, will be on sale for $3+ tax. Plus, if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll be happy to hear that the movie theater chain is also offering their fountain drink and popcorn cameo combo for just $5+ tax as part of the celebration.

“After this summer’s record-breaking return to cinemas, we wanted to do something to celebrate moviegoing,” said Cinema Foundation president Jackie Brenneman in a statement. “We’re doing it by offering a ‘thank you’ to the moviegoers that made this summer happen, and by offering an extra enticement for those who haven’t made it back yet.”
