Pet Friendly- Two of my favorite words – Why? Because it means our pets are invited!
It’s Terrie Carr and let me start by saying- I am always searching for cool spots, pet-friendly events, and places that welcome our furry family members. And I post events 5 at a time, as they make their way to our calendar, so you can plan to be with us, and have a blast! This week the first one is THIS SATURDAY at Diamond Spring Brewing Company in Denville– so keep the afternoon free!

At WDHA, we LOVE getting out in the community and celebrating our pets.
After a long week at work, it’s so nice to hang out, spend time, grab a meal or a cocktail, socialize with our dogs, (and ourselves) support animal rescue, and rock with our buddies in our free time. And we know our dogs love it too. I LOVE hanging with my pup Rosie she’s my favorite “person” to do anything with! I bring her to WDHA constantly. She’s loud and loves to ROCK!

2. Denville National Night Out- Broadway- Denville- 6p - Tuesday- 8/6
This is a FANTASTIC way to celebrate the community in Denville and a great way to connect first responders with those they serve and protect! We LOVE the Denville Animal Shelter at WDHA as well, (I have adopted twice “Denville Dogs”) and we will be onsite to support their FREE microchip clinic! We are seeing so many animals get lost these days, and microchips are a must for any pet owner. There are lots of fun activities for attendees so stop by!
3. Calandra's - Il Vecchio Cafe- National Dog Day- Bloomfield Avenue- West Caldwell- 12p-9p- Saturday 8/26
It’s National Dog Day!
Calandra’s Il Vecchio Cafe website This is always one of my favorite events ever! Celebrate “National Dog Day” with your best friend! Dine with your dog at my FAVE Italian restaurant “CALANDRA’S” at the Il Vecchio Cafe all day! A special doggie menu will be served and of course great cocktails for humans and canines! (Their “Pawgaritas” are yummy!) I will be onsite with team DHA from 4p-7p for a “Yappy Hour” with TONS of cool prizes! I love Calandra’s- the greatest food, fantastic atmosphere and amazing hospitality for our furry friends. Please stop by for a great meal and a fantastic time!
4. Luck O' The Pup- Adoption Event- Friendly Sons Of The Shillelagh Club- Prospect Ave- West Orange- Sunday- 9/22
This is such a FUN event, with multiple rescue groups, great food, vendors and the hospitality of the awesome Shillelagh Club in West Orange. They ROCK!!!! This is my fourth year at this even and I just love being there to support rescue, our local vendors and the Shillelagh Club. They treat everyone like rockstars!
