Buying insurance in NJ can be a very daunting and confusing task.

June 28 is National Insurance Day and this morning on Jersey Magazine, Jim Monaghan chats with Frank Jones, an independent insurance agent with Trusted Choice, and a partner at Mint Insurance here in NJ.

Among the topics we discuss -

Greetings From the Garden State - Exploring the Rutt's Hut Legacy

We are welcoming a brand new feature to Jersey Magazine this week with Mike Ham from Greetings From the Garden State.

Each week, Mike will highlight a special person or place that makes New Jersey so unique.

To kick things off this week, we do a deep dive on a New Jersey classic - Rutt's Hut and its famous "Ripper."

Rock N Ruff

WDHA's Rock N' Ruff is back with a PAWSOME senior dog! Sheba from The Randolph Regional Animal Shelter! We have had great luck with our last two Randolph pups - Loki and Maci who both found Pawsome forever homes and we are hoping three times is a charm with Miss Sheba.
Watch Sheba's Video! She's such a good girl!

Sheba Is Ready For A Forever Home

Sheba may be close to 11 years old, but this healthy sweet dog is such a mellow, happy gal, you would never know she is a senior, EXCEPT for the fact that she isn't bouncing off the walls (which is a good thing!) She is so gentle, and inquisitive, and loves being by your side. I was quite taken with Sheba as she was happy to rest her head on my leg and give me a sweet gentle kiss when I was talking to her. Such a good dog!
Sheba is content to hang by your side, LOVES going for a car ride enjoys a walk, and is extremely easy on a leash. She is also housebroken and could live with another pet after an introduction of course. She's a great gal!

What Does a Permanent Foster Home Mean?

What that means is due to Sheba's age, (once a dog hits a certain age they constantly get passed up in shelters because they are thought to be too old- BOO!) as not to deter potential families from taking Sheba, Randolph Regional Animal Shelter will cover any medical costs, should they occur and you can "permanently foster" this lovely dog. It gives Sheba a better chance at finding an awesome new home. I LOVE that the shelter does this.

How To Adopt Sheba -

Coach Sheets' Ride In

Jeremy Sheetinger is the head baseball coach atGeorgia Gwinnett Colleg where he led the Grizz Gang to the 2021 NAIA National Championship.

These quick hits may, on the surface, be geared toward his fellow baseball coaches, but his motivational message can easily be applied to the classroom, workplace, and your personal relationships.

This week, Coach Sheets addresses the need for authenticity and being real to who we are.
