Hi Holiday Pals!
I feel like I know all of you and that you all know me! As I get ready for the holiday, I’ve prepared a two-part list of some of my favorite gift ideas for holiday shopping to share with you guys and gals.
I wanted to incorporate a few elements into my picks. I need to LOVE these items and use them and think you may like them too! The uniqueness, quality, and good customer service is something I adore. Next, local businesses. These are for brick-and-mortar, online businesses, and folks who are also trying to make a difference in the world.
Many new entrepreneurs embark on “business givebacks” to local charities which always turns my head and grabs my heart. Truly what the season is about. I also try and find brands that you will use again and again simply because the experience is a good one on every level for you the consumer. And I LOVE unique. There is nothing like being the only one with something you love…..so cool.
Clothing, lifestyle merchandise, food, drink, jewelry, pet-related, experiences, and more- I’ve included something for everyone on my 2 part holiday lists. And of course, those who know me know I love everything that ROCKS! So there are quite a few rock-related items to choose from.
And on this list (Part 2) I take care of some of Rosie Carr’s shopping needs- Come on- dogs have gift lists too, at least Rosie does.

The name says it all and this Jersey Girl LOVES “Just Jersey” the most unique, local New Jersey shopping experience EVER! .Described on their website as – “Just jersey was created to celebrate the natural beauty, diversity, culture, grit and attitude of the Garden State” – the store also supports local artists, vendors , food producers and independently owned businesses. I have SO many Just Jersey items including candles, shirts, dish towels, AND a few of us ladies at WDHA have our “Just Jersey silver necklaces” so we can proudly display our love for the Garden State!

Of course I had to include the calendars (and they are almost sold out!) It’s an inexpensive, yet pawsome holiday gift for the dog lover in your life, they ship immediately , make great planners, AND it’s more like a donation rather than a purchase. 100% of your ten dollars goes to animal rescue groups we support locally. Most WDHA listeners know I love repping the rock with unique t-shirts- Redbubble is one of my favorite places to shop and the creators are all individual, independent artist creators (you can sell your own artwork on the site too) and they have every possible design (shirts, skirts, dresses, pants) to celebrate your favorite musicians. I’m a bit obsessed with this site (and both Murray and Swendy are getting something this year but don’t tell them!)

Food, family , friends! Calandra’s in Caldwell serves not only fantastic Italian food, but has the atmosphere to match. Their pastas , salads (their beet salad is my FAVORITE!) pizza’s, seafood breads, desserts and more are New Jersey’s best. They have great specials for the holiday as well. This is a gift everyone on your list is guaranteed to LOVE! (and their outdoor patio is incredible)
