With Mother's Day quickly approaching, we're happy to report that New Jersey has been named the 8th best state for working moms in the United States for 2022.

The personal-finance website WalletHub compared each of the 50 states for a working mother based on 17 key metrics. The list includes day-care quality, parental-leave policy score, gender pay gap, and more.

Here are the top 10 states for working moms:
