The weather across New Jersey has been anything but predictable this month. Now, as you solidify your weekend plans, you might want to prepare yourself for some light snow. Friday 2/24
North Jersey: According to Weather.gov, the northern part of the Garden State will be experiencing sunny and cold conditions where temps are expected to drop around 42 degrees. During the day, expect to feel very breezy as wind gusts will be as high as 36 mph. The night will be clear with frigid temperatures around 19 degrees. The wind at night will be as high as 24 mph but will most likely be around 6 to 14 mph.
South Jersey: The southern part of the state will also presume to be sunny but temps will fall to 39 degrees. Wnd gusts are expected to be between 20 to 25 mph. Tonight, it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 22 degrees with wind coming in at around 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday 2/25
North Jersey: Saturday is when you might see some light snow. It should arrive about 1 p.m. The sky should be pretty cloudy a high near 33. Wind chills are to be between 15 and 25. There should only be a light amount of wind at about 5 to 8 mph in the morning. At night, there is a 20 percent chance of snow showers before 1 a.m. Temps will be low at around 26. Wind is expected to be around 5 mph after midnight.
South Jersey: Residents in the southern part of the state will experience a slight chance of rain and snow showers after noon. Temps will be at a high of 36 degrees with cloudy skies. Wind will be at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon with a chance of precipitation is 20%. At night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 27 degrees. Wind expected to be around 5 mph.
Sunday 2/26
North Jersey: On Sunday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 51. Winds are expected to be low at 5 to 14 mph. At night, it will mostly clear, with a low around 30.
South Jersey: Residents in South Jersey are expecting to see mostly sunny conditions with a high near 50. Wind will be around 5 to 15 mph. At night, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 31.
