It’s a new week. Did you save your money up? There are a few releases coming out you may want to pick up. From re-issues to new material, let’s take a closer look at some key albums.

• FEAR FACTORY - MECHANIZE

  Original guitarist and founding member Dino Cazares is back for this one. He and lead singer Burton Bell patched things up and they joined forces to put out this heavy and aggressive release. Then again, heavy and aggressive is what we’ve come to expect from Fear Factory. This is a remixed and remastered version of the album which should sound spectacular. It’s got awesome moments like the one below!

• DEGREES OF TRUTH - ACLHEMISTS

  Reports are that this is a very eclectic album. You’ll find symphonic orchestrations but also hook-minded guitar riffs and versatile vocals that range from rock-style melodies to even some chanting as well.  The vocals are executed by new singer Claudia Beltrame.

• OFF-ROAD MINIVAN - MAY THIS KEEP YOU SAFE FROM HARM

  If you’re familiar with the band FIT FOR A KING, this is vocalists Ryan O’Leary’s rock side project.  The music is typically emotional and impactful and definitely ambient with many layers that fill in your listening experience! Don’t think metal, think powerful hook filled rock with great song-writing!
