TC’s David Bowie Collection: Shirts, Home Goods, Art, and More—It’s All About Bowie!

It's Terrie Carr and this week marks two milestones for David Bowie fans- David's Birthday - on January 8th and the anniversary of David Bowie's death on January 10th. I put this collection together in 2023, so trust me....there has been MORE added to my collection! But I decided to republish this story on what I call "Bowie Week".

I have a bit of a BOWIE OBSESSION!  Ever since I was 5 years old and first laid eyes and ears on an artist like no other. 
It began when I saw the cover of the Diamond Dogs album and listened to The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust with my dad. The songs were so captivating, the stories so vivid and David was mesmerizing. He seemed mythical, unreal, like a "character" . That he was. many characters. 
Bowie is a huge part of my life. My home has Bowie decor, his music fills my life and his music means everything to me.

This week is always a "Bowie Week" for me, as David died two days after his Birthday, so the week of January 8th always belongs to the Thin White Duke.
I have decided to share a bit of my Bowie obsession with you all from clothing to decor, memorabilia, and more.
Obsessed? Just a bit!

I have been collecting Bowie T-Shirt's for more than 20 years - Shirts, Hoodies, Tank Tops, Dresses, Socks-
I have it all. Here are just a few items from my collection.

Rosie LOVES wearing her Bowie shirts and bandanas.

I have some cool Bowie artwork, but one of my most cherished possessions is an autographed "Hours" lithograph that he autographed for me personally in 1999.

I have a bathroom dedicated to Ziggy! It's nice to shower with him everyday.....

This glass is extra special to me. Given to me by my best friend, the late Curtis Kay.

Our house has many Christmas trees during the holiday season. I have a beautiful pink one that has some awesome Bowie ornaments including some handmade by friends and I leave it up for most of January!

Bowie Pillows are on the couch. One given to me by listener Joe D!

My beautiful late rescue Yorkie Stardust was born on Bowie's Birthday. She was my pride and joy and when I saw her Birthday on her adoption papers and her name was "Star" - I instantly called her Stardust. I lost her over a year ago.
