It’s Terrie Carr and at WDHA we love bringing you new tunes along with everything else that rocks and spans 5 decades!
We have some KILLER new jams that have been making some noise, so as always I compile our calls, emails and social messages and give you 5 of the week’s biggest BUZZ tracks.

Here are the 5 new rockers making some noise this week!

• Linkin Park- Lost

  From the upcoming Meteora 20th anniversary release that features six new tracks on the super deluxe edition, Lost is an absolutely brilliant LP tune and hearing Chester’s emotional vocals has really resonated with listeners. Such a GREAT track. The Meteora 20th Anniversary is out 4/7 and LP bassist Phoenix will join me on Reconnect With Rockers that day as well.

• Daughty Featuring Lzzy Hale - Separate Ways

  This cover has connected with listeners from the start! Chris and Lzzy mesh perfectly and metal up this Journey classic.

• The Exies- Spirits High

  Even though we have only played this tune a few times, every time we play it listeners call and ask “what was that awesome tune you just played”? Now they are requesting it.

  The Exies are back after 20 years and many radio hits written by they singer Scott Stevens of other artists. (Halestorm, Daughtry, Lilith Czar and many others) Scott joined me last week on Reconnect With Rockers to bing us up to date so check it out!

  This tune rocks!

• The Hu featuring William Duvall- This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)

  What do you get when you take a Mongolian Metal band, completely unique in sound and pair them with the voice behind Alice In Chains?

  A tune that makes noise on WDHA! This tune has been requested practically every day in the lunch hour this week and William DuVall joined me this week on Reconnect With Rockers to talk about the track too!

   

• Hardy- Jack

  Mix a country twang, with a metal edge and a southern vibe – add in some rock aggression and a catchy title and you have this cool tune! Jack has been on the most requested list for a few weeks. No shocker….it’s mildly addicting!
