#3. Queen – Body Language Requested Through – Email Request Line – [email protected] Requested by – 1st LT. Nina M in Randolph , NJ
Nina M pops in at #3. with a Queen track that I had completely forgot about. WOW talk about memories! “Body Language” by Queen was released in 1982 as a single from their album “Hot Space,” the song showcases the band’s willingness to experiment with different genres and push the boundaries of their music. Part of the song’s appeal is its bold and daring approach to a taboo subject. The lyrics are unapologetically sexual, and the song’s explicit nature was considered controversial at the time of its release. However, rather than shying away from the controversy, Queen embraced it and used it to their advantage, pushing the boundaries of what was considered acceptable in popular music. “Body Language” was a hit for Queen, reaching number 25 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. The song’s success helped to cement Queen’s reputation as one of the most innovative and daring bands of their time. Great Job Nina! Salute!
