The Long Island Gunner Al H drops in at #5 with his Miami Vice themed request. “Miami Vice” was and still is my favorite 80’s tv cop show. Al did not make my decision easy on what to play, so by a coin flip I chose “New Girl Now” by Honeymoon Suite. It was released in 1984 from the bands self titled debut album . “New Girl Now ” was used in the Miami Vice Episode “One Eyed Jack”. it’s romping hard rock vibe and catchy chorus made it a perfect fit for the upbeat and glamorous vibe of Miami.
