TC here and the summer of 2022 was OFF THE CHAIN for concerts! We finally saw many of the shows we waited for (pre-pandemic) and bands brought forth a passion, fire and fury on stage that was exactly what we needed!
Here are a half dozen of our staff picks- In no particular order- that rocked our SUMMER!
The Black Crowes- Stone Pony Summerstage - June 30th
Scotty B our Rockturnal Southern Fried Maniac named this show as one to remember- A SOLD OUT, great smelling show- Scotty took the night off from the airwaves to enjoy his favorite band and said "Tater- They Did Not Miss A Step"! "Chris is still the ultimate showman and the chemistry between the brothers was ON FIRE!"

Elton John- MetLife Stadium - July 24th
My all time fave to see live is Elton John. The "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Farewell Tour" was one of the greatest shows with an incredible setlist, stage show and many of Elton's original band members in the backing band! It was a LONG tour due to being derailed by Covid and I was there in 2019 AND 2022. Absolutely Spectacular!
