Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Executive Director, Clinical Operations Saint Clare’s Health System
Jan Bednar, MS, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, began her nursing career as a staff nurse in ICU/CCU at Riverside Hospital, Boonton Township, NJ. She was a staff/charge nurse for critical care and the emergency department at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ for seven years. While at Overlook Hospital, Jan volunteered as a medic for one year. Jan was also a home infusion nurse for Hoffman LaRoche/Nations Healthcare for five years.
In 1985 Jan joined Saint Clare’s – first as an agency nurse, then transferring to the Emergency Department in 1990 where she was the Patient Care Manager, Manager, then Director of Emergency Services. In October 2009 Jan was appointed the Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Saint Clare’s Health System until her appointment as Interim Chief Nursing Officer in July 2015. In October 2015, Jan was appointed by Prime Healthcare as Chief Nursing Officer for Saint Clare’s Health.
Jan received her BSN and MS in Health Care Management from the College of Saint Elizabeth and is Nurse Executive Advance-Board Certified (NEA-BC). She has received numerous leadership awards during her nursing career. Jan was a member of the 2015 Leadership Morris class sponsored by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

Andrea Lotosky, MSN, RN began her nursing career as a staff/charge nurse in Cardiac Step Down at Morristown Medical Center in 2001. She was a staff/charge RN for telemetry at Newton Medical Center and then transferred to Critical Care. In 2009 she was the Critical Care Nurse Educator at Saint Mary’s in Passaic, New Jersey. She was promoted to a nursing manager and eventually into a director role overseeing various departments in the hospital. During these years Andrea volunteered every summer as a summer camp nurse.
Andrea transferred to Saint Clare’s Health in 2016 as the Administrative Director of Nursing for the Denville campus. In 2017 she was appointed the role for both Denville and Dover campuses.
Andrea received her BSN and MSN in Nursing Leadership and Management from Walden University. Andrea was a member of the 2017 Leadership Morris class and is an active board member for the Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey.
