We don't have to spell out how tight finances have gotten around here. Between grocery prices and fuel, day care and rent every dollar is stretched to their limits. Some local families are making tough decisions every week: prescription drugs or dinner is no choice to have to make... but then here comes the holidays and the gift giving for the kids just seems impossible for some local families.
That's where WDHA steps in with our partners at Child and Family Resources. In the 2024 holiday season, Child and Family Resources helped 87 local families with providing the spirit of the holidays in places where financial struggles are just too real. Child and Family Resources chooses the families they help with great care and thoughtfulness. Only families that truly deserve the assistance receive their help. That's why we here at WDHA are so sure that when you step up to help, you are indeed helping out a family in need.
