Have your kids finally moved away and you want to utilize your space for something a little bit more... You?
You've heard the term "Man-Cave," but what about a She-Room?
It's essentially the same concept, only you draft the extra room to your favorite specifications! For example, there may be a few things you'd like to have set up, some media that you'd like to be able to play in your She-Room, but really, the world is your oyster, and it becomes YOUR SPACE to be you.
Here are some cool rooms, tips, tricks, and overall room inspiration to give yourself your own Woman cave, a she-shed, a diva den, whatever you want to call it - it's yours!
Organizing
You don't want to have a woman-cave and it be all messy, so installing things like doors with shelves or making sure you have ways to place your things together is always going to be a must. You don't want a clutter cave!
Table Topics
If your She-Room is one of those places where you plan on entertaining your other friends, you're going to want a place to set your drinks. It a cool table or some end tables that speak your personality to bring the room together.
The Big Comfy Couch (Or Chair)
Much like a man will have a Lazy Boy, you need a good chair to sit in. If you're looking to chill and read a book, find a big one to curl up in, and probably one where you can put your feet up.
The Hard Worker
Do you think you'll be using your Diva Den for more of an office setting? Make it nice and organized, with a good desk or wide table and a comfortable chair. Not too comfy to where you won't want to work, but comfortable enough to where your back won't hurt after sitting there for hours at a time.
The Sitting Arrangements
Much like having a place to put your glasses if you entertain, you must also have a place to sit your butts down while you're relaxing. Think a day-bed or something nookish like the photo above. Remember, you're not going to be taking businessy-type meetings with a She Shed like this, so it's probably going to be a friend your comfortable lounging with.
And above all else, make sure the room reflects your personality!
