‘Dookie’ at 25: Test Your Knowledge of Green Day’s Breakthrough LP
On February 1, 1994, Green Day released Dookie. Twenty-five years later, it still sounds as fresh and relevant as it did all of those years ago.
Dookie peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, which is beyond poetic. It launched Green Day into the rock stratosphere, but it also led to a pop-punk explosion opening the door for No Doubt and blink-182. Later, it would give rise to the likes of Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday and many more.
But how much do you know about Dookie and its history?
In honor of it’s 25th anniversary, take the quiz below to test your knowledge on this seminal LP!
