There’s An App To Help Stop Your Hangovers (FINALLY!)
A fun night out with friends is the perfect way to unwind after a long week. But you know what isn’t fun? The brutal hangover that greets you the next day. You get a headache, an upset stomach, and anything that requires you to get out of bed is just not happening. Fortunately, there’s a new iPhone app that may help to prevent hangovers.
It’s called Hydrate Now, and it provides friendly reminders throughout the night to encourage you to consume water, thus cutting down on hangovers the next day. The ingenious invention is the brainchild of 23-year-old Canadian developer.
So while you’re busy taking shots at the bar with your friends, you’ll look down and notice an alert reminding you to have a cup of water or two. Whether you choose to take your phone’s sage advice or not is up to you, but the thought is that if you see the alert, it can help encourage you to stay hydrated when you might not normally think to do so. You can customize how frequently you’d like to be reminded to sip some H20.
So while the app may not be able to stop you from that regrettable 2 am Taco Bell order, at least it can help you stay super refreshed as you’re downing three Crunchwrap Supremes.
