Microsoft Hires Dog To Voice Aliens In New Halo Infinite
If you haven’t been watching Microsoft’s behind the scenes series of videos for the upcoming Halo Infinite, you have been sorely missing out. Mostly, though, because you may have then missed the introduction of Buddy the dog, the voice actor for the alien sounds in the upcoming Halo game on Xbox Series X. Who is Buddy? He is a little pug whose owner is a program manager at Halo Infinite’s developer, 343 Industries. How did they get him to read his voice lines? They gave him snacks and let him get to work

Fun fact, Buddy is actually the second pug to have their sounds put into Halo Infinite and joins fellow pug Gyoza as credited actors on the project. Halo Infinite will be properly shown off during the Xbox 20/20 event in July, and that’s a big deal because Microsoft has shown precisely no gameplay whatsoever from the title. Here’s to looking forward to some gameplay footage finally where we can hear Buddy chomping away at slim jims.
