Flight Attendants In China Have Been Told To Wear Diapers
Flight attendants in China are doing everything they can to stay safe from coronavirus. According to the New York Post, they are being told to wear diapers to avoid bathrooms and ward off COVID-19 infection. This is for flights to and from high-risk countries.
Per guidelines in the Civil Aviation Administration of China, “It is recommended that cabin crew members wear disposable diapers and avoid using the lavatories barring special circumstances to avoid infection risks.”
This recommendation comes as a recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the virus can spread on airplanes, even if passengers are asymptomatic.
The outlet lastly adds that there have been cases where passengers have worn proper masks the entire flight but have still caught coronavirus because the mask was taken off in a bathroom.
